The SSG Sport Academy

SSG Training provide a specialist Sports Academy route for young people that are keen to forge a career in sport or that see sport as a passion.

Our Sports Academy in Bedford has access to a fantastic facility encompassing indoor sports coaching facilities, outdoor pitches and classroom based learning meaning our sports provision provides plenty of opportunity for our students to get active.

Students participate in traditional sports that we all know and love as well as experimenting with basic skills, experiencing new sports and even getting the opportunity to make up new sports altogether.

We offer both an intermediate and advanced course and provide a regular progression pathway for learners to access both. Our sports academy courses provide a fast track route for individuals to progress within sports coaching and sports teaching and our close working ties with local industry leading businesses means our students get access to apprenticeship and employment options throughout the duration of their courses to best place them for a career within the industry.

All course options also include access to Math’s and English lessons and qualifications which is a mandatory requirement for any students that have not achieved a C-Grade/4 (or above) or equivalent.
